Dorothy Who?

Dorothy Who? was part of China Glaze's Wizard of Ooh Ahz Returns collection which was rereleased due to popular demand, and boy was I happy that they did!

DW is such a pretty blue-silver glitter suspended on medium blue jelly polish! In general, I'm a lover of all blues, so without a question, I quickly fell in love with this colour!

So onward with the swatches: sunny outdoor...

With blue this gorgeous, how can you resist falling in love with it?!?! I mean, just look at it! Doesn't it remind you of the clear blue, blue summer sky?? For me, it certainly did. In fact, DW was so pretty that I didn't do any nail art on it since it'd be a sin to do so!

Rescue Beauty Lounge Squarepants!

So this is the story behind this polish. I've been somewhat lemming after RBL's polishes pretty much after seeing all of the raving reviews of the quality and arrays of colours of their nail polishes in various nail blogs (i.e. ALU, Scrangie).
At first it was ok for me to not have them because A, while I have no doubt that the quality of their polishes must be top notch, the price is rather too high for an undergrad with irregular part-time job like me. So I decided that it was ok that for me not to own any. But alas, the lemming was still there and it only grew after every beautfiul swatches I see, especially their Marc Jacobs inspired Spongebob Squarepants collection. Those colours are just to die for! Granted they're sheer, but I'm a lover of sheer polishes as much as I love opaques!

Luckily, my lemmings were answered in the form of Rescue Beauty Lounge's annual 50% off sale! So I got myself the whole spongebob collection and some!

So without further ado, may I present Squarepants!

Squarepants itself is sheer milky yellow polish that while it stands for its namesake, it also reminded me a lot of banana pudding! Pictured is three coats with Zoya's La Pop with flash. You can see that this is pretty sheer as even with three coats, you can still see the VNL.
